At Chantybikes.co.uk, we offer a full 99-day return period – so you can shop safely and without worries.
We understand that sometimes you may change your mind – and that’s completely okay.
You therefore have 99 days from the day you receive your bike or accessories to return the item if you decide not to keep it.
Note: Warranty claims (e.g., transport damage, defects, or missing parts) must be submitted via our warranty claim form, which you can find here.
Important conditions for the right of return
To make use of the return right, all the conditions below must be fulfilled:

The packaging must not be opened or broken.
– The packaging must appear as received and must not be cut open, torn, taped, or otherwise damaged. -
The bike must not be assembled, partially assembled, or used.
– If the bike has been assembled, it is considered used and cannot be returned as new. -
The item must be returned in its original, undamaged packaging.
– This includes both inner and outer packaging, such as foam inserts, plastic bags, zip ties, and protective elements. -
The product must show no signs of use.
– No scratches, marks, dirt, or signs of outdoor use. -
The return must include clear identification.
– Order number, name, and contact details must be clearly visible inside the package.
If one or more of the above conditions are not met, CHANTYBIKES LTD may reject the return or deduct an amount corresponding to the depreciation of the item (up to 25% of the purchase price).
How to return an item

Choose the return portal for your country (DK / SE / DE/ EN).

Follow the instructions and download your return label.

Pack the item securely in the original packaging.

Drop off the package at GLS or book pickup via Jetpack.

Show the QR code (at GLS) and have the label printed or applied.

Remember to get a receipt for drop-off – it serves as your proof.
Once we have received and approved your return, we will refund the amount as soon as possible.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does it cost to return an item?
The return shipment costs £18, which is deducted from your refund.
For warranty claims (e.g., defects, faults, or damage), we naturally cover the return shipping.
When will I receive my refund?
The amount will be refunded to your payment card within 3–7 business days after we have received and approved your return.
Can I exchange for another color or size?
Yes, if the item has not yet been shipped.
If the item has already been shipped, you can return it and place a new order.
Can I return an item in a physical store?
Unfortunately, we do not have a physical store yet.
Returns are handled via GLS or Jetpack.
What if the bike is assembled or used outdoors?
Returns are accepted only if the bike is not assembled and has not been used.
Once a bike has been assembled or used, it is considered a used product, and the right of return lapses.
If the bike is partially assembled or shows visible signs of use, a depreciation of up to 25% of the purchase price may apply.
Can I return multiple orders in the same package?
Yes, you can. Just remember to include all relevant order numbers clearly both inside the package and in your return email.

We only accept return packages sent directly to our address – we do not collect parcels from parcel shops or lockers.
Always pack the item securely, as you are responsible for the item during transport.
